Player Development
Scholarships and Player Development The BCGCA is committed to providing support for the student-athlete success both in the classroom and on the course. We award annual scholarships to current collegiate golfers whom express superior academic performance and partner with industry leaders to provide internship opportunities. We provide exposure to the many facets of golf, headlined but providing elite golf development opportunities throughout the collegiate season.
Education & Professional Development for Coaches
To ensure the growth of minority golf across the country, we invest in the coaches that lead these programs. We provide memberships to the Golf Coaches Association of America, and access to seminars and other educational sessions associated with their annual convention. We also offer discounted access to cutting edge technology in the golf industry and tutorials of how to maximize usage.
Team Operational Support
The BCGCA provides financial support to Black college golf programs, assisting in all facets of team operations. Grant funding for programs exists through the Thomas W. Dortch Collegiate Golf Classic, while our subsidized golf tournaments help maximize programs operational budgets. We also feature an enhanced partnership with PGA of America to provide sponsorships Gift in Kind for products and services.
